MMTC’s Food Processing Professionals are ANSI Certified in Food Safety through NSF to ensure that they help Michigan Food Processors with all of their operational needs without compromising a processing facility’s food safety plan.

An interactive course with 9 learning modules help equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to implement an efficient and effective food processing system without compromising food safety. Participants learn to understand, analyze and improve their processes to maximize operational excellence. It also takes the participant through identifying potential hazards and developing good work practices and controls to minimize risks to food and consumers. Combining efficiency and safety will increase profitability while ensuring safe, quality foods.
MMTC helps companies maximize operational efficiencies in cultivation, handling, processing, packaging, warehousing and distribution of food and food products. We also provide support in process standardization and in compliance to the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). The Act seeks to provide a safer food supply and a more stable food industry, including by broadening the power of the Food and Drug Administration to regulate every aspect of food production.
