The MMTC's LEAN Sigma Healthcare Champion is a comprehensive training program created especially for healthcare organizations. This program is vital for anyone who is serious about revulutionizing their healthcare organization. Each particiapnt will learn many LEAN tools along with how and where to apply them to improve aspects of organizational performance. Course graduates receive a dual Certificate of Completion as a LEAN Healthcare Champion and Sigma Green Belt.

MMTC’s REAL HOSPITAL is a unique feature of our LEAN training. Augmenting the classroom instruction, participants reinforce their classroom learning by transforming a traditional healthcare operation into a LEAN Hospital utilizing LEAN and Six Sigma tools.

Week 1: Preparing the Lean Champion

Prepares the LEAN Champion to manage the implementation process and define the value stream of an organization.

Week 2: Elements of LEAN Business Solutions

Provides an in-depth understanding of LEAN tools and techniques as well as describes the activities necessary to engage the entire company in continuous improvement.

  • Applying the Value Stream Mapping process

  • Quick Changeover (QCO) and Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED)
  • Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
  • Poka-Yoke
  • Pull Systems, Material Controls and Kanban

Week 3: Application of LEAN Business Solutions
